Behind every great athlete, there's a great coach. From Catriona LeMay Doan to Elvis Stojko, every successful athlete needs the support, knowledge, and skills of others to really shine. To get a better feel for the role of a coach, pick an athlete, and research what type of support they received on their road to success.
You might choose one of the following people, or come up with a name of your own:
Wayne Gretzky, Silken Laumann, Karen Magnussen, Nancy Greene, Steve Podborski, Kurt Browning, Brian Orser, Charmaine Crooks, Rick Hansen or Jasey Jay Anderson.
