Project 3 — Careers in Sport (Grades 7-9, 10-11)

You don't have to be an athlete to be involved in sports-there are plenty of other ways to join the world of athletics. Can you think of other careers for people who want to be part of the excitement of sports? What type of work would you like to do if you had a career in the sporting industry? Write a job description of what you would do, and the training and skills you would need to do this job. Some examples of jobs you could consider are: sports doctor, physiotherapist, sportswear designer, stadium architect, coach, dietician, talent scout, or team manager.
