(Grades 4-6, 7-9) Sports can be very emotional for fans — sometimes you even see grown men and women crying when their favourite team loses an important game. Other times fans become angry, and in extreme cases, they become violent. There have been media stories about parents who become violent when their children are given sports penalties. Why do you think sports have this effect on people? Do you think it's healthy? Can you think of ways to prevent angry fans from getting out of control?
