Education2010.ca is a prototype site that combines the Olympic experience and Olympic values with a wide range of curriculum-based projects, media, and resources to create an exciting learning environment for teachers and students. Education2010.ca is about motivating all students to be the best they can be in body, mind, and spirit.

Education2010.ca is a 'learning network' — borrowing structure and terminology from the public television network model. Our web 'network' is broken down into 3 thematically focused content areas known as "Channels" — the Athlete, Sport and Culture Channels.

PROGRAMS
Each Program consists of one or more curriculum-based projects that explore specific topics corresponding to the theme of that Channel. A downloadable version of each program in French and English will be available soon.

RESOURCES
The site contains links to relevant websites and several custom produced video clips designed to engage kids, extend the learning experience, and provide useful project specific resources.
Many videos are interviews with young Olympic and Paralympic athletes — using role models to help to jump start discussion and interest in various project topics.
